What are the classifications of screen changer?
The screen changer is a manual or automatic switching device consisting of one or more filters, which is used to filter out foreign particles and impurities when plasticizing material flow filters. The filter is supported by an alloy porous plate, which is mounted on a plate or column carrier. The carrier can be moved to switch between the working position of a system and the off-line non-working position. The net changer can be installed on any new or existing extruder, melt pump, reactor or or other extrusion production line. It can be used to filter any type of polymer, rubber or ceramic melt.
Manual network changer, as its name implies, is to switch the network changer device manually. Manual screen changer has the advantages of compact size and low cost, but its shortcomings are also obvious: slow screen changing speed, generally need to stop and change the screen, because of friction resistance and sealing performance, its filter diameter is generally less than 100 mm.
Hydraulic automatic net changer
Hydraulic automatic mesh changer is to switch mesh plate or mesh column back and forth by hydraulic station with complex structure. Hydraulic automatic mesh changer has the advantages of compact size, good back pressure seal and fast mesh changing speed. Its shortcomings are relatively acceptable: high cost and complex hydraulic structure.
